Does revit needs a plotter with postscript to print?

The question is simple, 

I need to buy a new plotter, and some sellers said that i need a plotter with postscipt to print from revit. I need to know if this is true or not.

No. Revit uses Windows Printer Drivers. As long as the printers can be seen in the printer list of Windows then Revit can use it (with the exception of, well, Microsoft Print to PDF, for some people some times).

Never purchased/used anything but Postscript Printers.  You can find demos online that show the print quality differences with and without feature.
