Does Revit Batch Print Add-In work for A360 Cloud models? - Getting Error

I get the "error - cannot be ignored"

Please make sure that the current project is saved and the project file is available before running Batch Print.

I save and sync the project but still get the same error. I'm assuming Revit doesn't allow this feature in cloud models? Is that correct?

Just confirmed... when I open local central models the batch print DOES work. So this error seems to be isolated to just A360 cloud models.

Hi @edanasta,

The Batch Print feature is not currently supported for use with cloud workshared models. This has been logged as an improvement with our development team however and may be supported in a future version of the software. For now the workflow is to use a detached copy for this feature. Thanks!

Ok, understood. The issue we are dealing with is, printing our set at one time with several hundred sheets always crashes Revit. So to avoid crashing we have to print in smaller batches. This obviously doesn't allow the native hyperlinking which we have to do using Bluebeam as a post process which is not as complete as the native hyperlinking.

Saving a local file is not ideal either, as we have to download 3GB of various models and relink to produce the same outcome. This is generally not worth the amount of time we are trying to save from breaking up the batch prints.

Thanks for the update. Will be waiting for this feature.
