How to Create Opaque Background for Label Border

I would like to know if it is possible to have an opaque background that fits the label border that is around the text. See attached screen shot (highlighted in yellow). Currently I can only turn on the opaque background for the text and not the border around it. This applies to Keynote tags and Room tags that have text labels in the family.

I'm not following. You could put a fill region behind the text in the tag family. Does that work?

Change the Label Type's Leader/Border Offset to 0.

Then the fill won't adjust with the label box when the text gets wider/narrower.

Can't change it completely to 0 because the fill of the text will overlap the label border but if I adjust it to 1/256" it works well enough. Thanks! I feel like this is a graphic standard wish list item that Revit could fix easily. How does one go about putting in a request like this?

If you are speaking about the Keynote tag, I found an easy effective way.

I made a copy of the Keynote tag family and placed a solid white fill behind the text and simply inserted it into my project. Worked great and was easy.
