Divided Surface in mass Problem

You can get rid of it by giving the U or V grid a very slight offset

After i opened it up today,its acting weird...now the individual panels can be selected separately...instead of going to edit the mass in place...

That is normal. Panels are either generic or curtain panel category and can be selected separately from the hosting mass.

Try to turn on 'Show Mass' to select whole mass. That could be your last issue.
