Display of hatches and shadows RVT2019

Hello all,

I'm setting up a Revit template for the firm I work for and I've got an issue. I want my elevation and the elevation part of my section to look the same.

We use shadows in our elevations but not in our sections. In Revit both the elevation and the section look the same, the hatches have got the same colour. But once I try to plot the project the hatches in the elevation (the one with shadows) get very light to the point that when plotting irl it doesn't plot some of the lines.

I've already narrowed it down to being an issue with vector plotting. Problem is, plotting in raster creates very big file sizes so if possible I want to avoid using raster. I've attached two images, one plotted with vector and one plotted with raster.

Do any of you have a suggestion for a solution to my problem?

I'd like to hear from you.

Yes: Submit "Vector". No question about it.

Hmm sad but I thought as much, guess I'll have to accept the hatches in the elevation being lighter.

Thank you for your reply.
