Disapearing elements in 2017

Is anyone else experiencing disappearing elements in 2017.  Some of our staff says that various Coded Note symbols and other annotations seem to just disappear.  They are there for a while then later when they go back to do more in that view, they see that the work they did previously is gone.

This is on a new project so there are no phases.

Please let me know if this is a known issue.  If so, is there a fix?

Annotation is view specific. If the annotation elements are tags, if the element is hidden or removed the Tag is also hidden or removed.

Check that the elements haven't been hidden or deleted.

As @Anonymous mentions, I would recommend looking for the elements those annotations refer to. 

Have you changed the Cut Plane height of the floor plan, in View Range, recently?
