Wall height and roof constraints

All;
Very new to Revit - learning as I re-draw and ArchiCAD project...
I have an interior wall set up but I cannot change the wall height or location line - wall height is set top constraint to garage ceiling level which is 10', I have several more levels set up for different ceiling heights but I cannot change any interior wall height for whatever reason. Also cannot change the location line to interior or exterior, it is greyed out on "wall centerline". The wall assembly is an interior 2x6 stud wall with 5/8 gyp on each side.

I have the same happening with a roof that has a base level that cannot be changed to any of my other levels.

In both cases, wall and roof, the dropdown does not show any of the other levels. What am I missing here?

Please see below...

The base constraint or location line both don't show any options at all. I have 2 stories and roof. Am I missing a global "lock" button somewhere?

Most likely, the wall is attached to the slab. Select the wall, click on Detach Top/Base, click on the slab.

Hi @Anonymous,

Are you saying that the wall in your image will not allow you to click in the fields of Location Line and Top Constraint in order to change the information? Is there no pull down menu for those?

OK - so it turns out that this is not Revit related at all, it is monitor related, but this problem only shows up with the Revit dropdown menus. All other software dropdown menus works fine. After some troubleshooting today I have figured out that this has to do with this one specific Asus monitor I am hooked up to. Fortunately, we have two identical setups here at our office - the new Surface Book with performance base hooked up to an Asus MX27A. I tried my laptop on the other monitor setup and it works fine there. Weird thing.... Thx to all who responded.

Hi, I see you are an Autodesk specialist,

I have the same issue, but it got fixed too just changing the monitors. The issue was with a ViewSonic VA2455 Series (set at native resolution 1080p), it works fine with my second monitor which is a 4K LG TV.

Is there a patch for this specific issue?

Thank you.
