Dimensions which correspond in link file deleted

Hello all,

I linked a CAD file in Revit and I drawn some dimensions. Every time that I reload the link CAD file the dimensions deleted!

Is there is any way to keep them as I dont change the geometry of the linked CAD.

Unfortunately that is one of Revits biggest problems. It also occurs when you dimension to Revit-links from architects, MEP or structural engineers. The solution is to not reference to links but to dimension to reference planes which you draw yourself.
