There is no such thing as a "Dimension Family Category". Create Dimension Types. If you have Dimension Types in other Projects, use Transfer Project Standards to transfer them into your current Project.

I assume "transfer project standards" is transfer everything ? If only want to have a couple of dimension types from another project, the better way is to copy paste?
