Hi, When I select a level I used to change the dimension, but I can't modify them anymore and they are not locked. Thanks for help

Find out, I should activate the dimension, but I can't active forever. Should I do it each time?

Can you share a file that shows the behavior?

Are the levels from a linked file?

Sounds like you have hidden constraints. Toggle the "Reveal Constraints" button to investigate.

The file is so big, however, the levels are not linked, I am just wondering why some of the levels have 'active dimension' and some don't. Thanks

by your image

the levels that are blue have views associated to them

the levels that are gray do not have views associated to those levels.

...because the file IS so large. This is typical behavior. Revit has reached a point where it won't show temporary dimensions because it would impact performance.

Run this test:  create a new elevation or section and see if you can change the grid elevation without activate the dimension.

When I create a new level I don't have active dimension.
