Different adjacent wall types

I have a stone finish exterior wall. I want to add a bulge to it (as if to fake a thick column in it)

So, I made two wall types: one has my original stone finish, the other is exactly the same with the exception of an added 6" concrete block layer behind the stone finish. So, I draw the first wall, then, where I want the thicker wall I draw the second wall type.

But the stone of the second wall type does not want to wrap as to connect with the thinner wall type (original). Even though I have wrapping enabled, it is neither an end nor an insersion condition. One wall type begins where the other ends. So no wrapping, and i end up having the concrete block exposed on the sides of the wall.

How can I get it to wrap?

Select the main wall you are using, where you have 1 layer of finish (stone); duplicate it, rename it, edit structure, and do these changes: add 1 finish layer (stone) to the other side of the concrete block layer. Set both finish layers to wrap. Set the thickness of the concrete block layer as the width of the bump or pilaster you're making. Then, in the type parameters, under wrapping at ends, select "Exterior".

Then, using this new wall type, draw a wall perpendicular to the main wall, to form the pilaster. See illustration.

Alfredo - You are a genius! I assume this is still the best way to accomplish this? How would you do a corner condition like below? )The sketch is one I was getting ready to send just before I came across your solution).
