detail line is kinda weird

so i made line pattern where its has 1 dash and for dots. when im using it in some places it makes straight lines which has no dash or dots, but it should at least have 2 dash and 4 dots and even more. any suggestions what should i do ?

My first thought is that the line pattern is too long for Revit to show it. Offereing a solution would be just guessing without additional information.

Maybe Revit is trying to tell you something ? 

In Morris Code: 

dash dot dot dot dot = 6 

Dash= T 

Dash Dash Dot Dot Dot = 7

Dot= E  

So altogether = 6T7E.  

T is the 20th letter in the Alphabet and E is the 5th letter.

So, 6+20+7+5=38.  

Does 38 mean anything to you?
