Detail line and game mouse

I have used shortcut key LL for detail line since Rv8, but won't be able to assign this to a game mouse recently, regardless of how many new key combinations I tried, involving control/shift/alt keys. It seems only working with keyboard.

Must be something special about detail line command that you can't assign it to a game mouse.

I m using Red Dragon game mouse, wd appreciate any pointers.

Surely not the mouse problem, because it works with every other commands.

That doesn't make any sense. Revit doesn't know where the command is coming from. All it knows is its getting the command. Are you sure you've got your mouse programmed correctly? Are you assigning "LL" as a macro to one of the buttons, or are you doing something else?
