Detail Item in Family not showing

My engineers have put a light that isn't showing up consistently. The light type/height, are the same as well as the ceiling. Yet in some locations the detail fill shows up and prints properly and others it doesn't. What can I do to find the issue? I've attached the light in question and a screen shot of the issue.

I don't know why some of the lights show properly and some of them don't. I just moved the whole model down 1/32" and problem solved.

Hi!

I assume it has something to do with ffliping workplane.

When you place it on face, I assume it changes colour when you click on flip workplane arrows.

I think this is how Revit order stuff...

My suggestion is, take the right one and copy it all the way.

Or create it in RCP.

Regards

how about moving the view range up instead of moving the model down?

It's not the view range as much as it's the lights getting 'Stuck' inside the ceiling and not allowing the detail fill to come through.

The issue is with lights in a Linked model, should've mentioned that to begin with.

well, in that case, are Display Settings for Links set by Host View, or by Linked or Custom? And, are those settings correct? Still, I'm inclined to agree with the Mirko's assessment. Are you sure they're all facing the same direction? Anyways, moving the model is certainly not the way I would resolve this or any like issue.

Do you have control over placing or modifying (slightly) the families in the linked model?
