Detail Item Disappears

I made a couple of tub and shower families and I'm having issues with the detail items I put inside the families.

I added some studs (2D detail item) for our plumbing wall as well as a dashed lines (also a detail item) to show where the plumbing and P-trap would go so when we're doing a joist layout we know where to keep it clear. We're a modular home company so we need to keep everything standard and that's why we do things this way.

The issue I'm having is that when I bring my families into a project and I place a wall, the wall is hiding my detail items from my family. However, it's only doing this for half of the families but not all of them which is odd. I used the same detail items for each tub/shower family and my families are all modeled as plumbing fixtures. I have checked if there's anything to do with the visibility of the detail items but they're all set to visible at all detail levels. The studs are visible in the project until I place a wall over top of it and then the wall masks the details. I use the same wall assembly on different tub/shower and the details show through. I'm really at a loss right now and not sure what's going wrong.

you can see here when I select it the studs are there, they're just being hidden by the wall

Hello,

I attached 2 families and named them as which one shows and which one doesn't if you want to compare them.
For the "Accept as Solution" do I just do that when the problem is fixed?

Thanks for you help!

this problem is dependent to the height of your family and the View Range in your project.

so , i change your family :

i make the variable "height" and an <Visible Line>.

so the problem is gone.

I think it.
