Detail Components in Generic Model

We have a super tower project with all adaptive panels. We now are trying to get mullion details to be shown on all the plans (just like if you use a normal curtain wall family with detail components embedded within the profile family). But non annotation families work in adaptive components. Is there a way to work this out or do I have to place them in in the project manually for all 70 floors?

Place them in views.  You only need to show those in large scaled details.  Or are you wanting to show them everywhere, tiny sections and all?

Yeah. we are trying to get them shown up everywhere, including all floor plans in different scales.

Then you have to place them directly in project views.  Utilize arrays, detail groups, repeating detail components as much as you can.

  • Make a Mullion Profile Family in which nest a Detail Item with a detailed section view.
  • create a closed Profile to be used for Course and Medium Detail Level and in 3d views
  • from Visibility Settings make visible the Detail Item only in Fine Detail Level
  • Load into Project
  • Everytime you have a plan view you can choose the Level of Detail

Are you sure that works for Adaptive family or curtain panel pattern based?
