Design Options

I have a house that we will be doing a remodel and addition in.  I have the current house plan drawn, but now I need to make the changes for the addition and the renovation.  I was under the impression that the design options would help with that, but I can not delete a wall or a window, without it changing in the current house plan also.  Any way of doing this with out having a separate file?

Hello!

Create two design options. In the first you need to put all the objects intended to be deleted/modified, then create or duplicate a second design option. In this you will create what you want, without see and modify the first option.

Based on what you have described, what you need is Phases, not Design Options.
