Design Options

Hi guys,
Does anyone know a good way to change a ceiling height when dealing with design options? The company I work for does 4 elevations and I do that through Revit’s design options, but clients come in wanting 9’ ceilings when I have drawn a certain house model with 8’ ceilings. I ran into this a week ago and the model was drawn with 8’ ceilings and the client wanted 9’, so I tried to change it and it would not work for the life of me; I kept getting error messages after error messages. I was just curious if anybody else does design options and had a trick to this when dealing with changing the ceiling height in all 4 elevation options.

How does the ceiling affect your elevations? Maybe there will be other elements involved, too?

Hello 

You might have the error due to the references and linked object , what i mean is that you have to see if there is any elements joined with the ceiling or the ceiling was working as a reference plan for any object so it will not move that easy if there is a problem when moving it , please if you can attach the model so i can figure out the problem on the model itself
