I agree with @barthbradley on this one you are repeating the exact same questions as yesterday 😕 you really need to talk to a Sustainability Engineer.
DesignBuilder is not a Plug in or Software it is a software which you need to buy and it comes with a plug in for Revit. The plug in itself will do you NO GOOD if you haven't purchased the Software which does more or less the same as Insight (combined) IF you purchase all of its modules...
The Plugin: is more of an exporter which takes your model from Revit to the software
The Software: BD doesn't come for free and also doesn't come all in one package. They have a variation of 3 packages where each has an Essential/Plus/Pro. your options are limited to which package you purchase. If you purchase the Pro for example, then you do not need to do or modify anything in Revit because you will be able to model, render, calculate, simulate, optimize all in DB...If you buy the Essential your options will be limited.
From the economic point of view...insight is more cost efficient because you can basically use all modules with the credits you have available in your wallet
