Depth cueing to AutoCAD

I work in Revit all the time but I have to export to CAD files so many of our engineers can manipulate the information. But my supervisors seems to have difficulties with some of the elements, especially with the Depth Cueing tool.

Revit doesn´t export this properties? it is possible to CAD to read the depth cueing?

Not sure what you're after. Depth Cueing is just a view effect.

Just say No can't do.  If you give in, next thing you know they will ask why shadows on the elevation not coming as hatches.

...because maybe pointing out that Depth Cueing (which is relatively new) is View thing, might help understand why "No".   Others may say "No" and be done with it. But as a parent, I know a "No" is always rebutted with a "Why" ... followed by a temper-tantrum.

Perhaps I can explain a bit further.....

-Depth Cueing in Revit uses "raster graphics" --like an image file, not "vector graphics", where lineweights and colors get changed based on a distance away from the cut plane/view station point, as was the case in Architectural Desktop/AutoCad for Architecture.

-So, since it is a "raster type effect", it does not translate to Cad when exported, as this is a vector format.

A Question, as its a "effect",  Autodesk, could apply a similar effect on the depth cued view, like adding a percent of white to que "VECTOR COLOR" of those elements so when it exports do Autocad, the lines are perfectly fine.
