Demolitions in Revit 2021

I am having an issue with demolishing wall parts. The demolished parts are only shown in the view they were demolished. 

I am working on a renovation project which will include replacing the outer face of the wall. If I create parts in plan view, the 3D view still shows them in the new construction phase. If I undo and demolish parts in 3D view, they are still visible in the floor plan.  

Screen shots are attached - both views are set to new construction and show complete. In plan view I have demolished the cladding and drawn a new brick wall. In 3D, the new brick wall and demolished cladding are both visible.

Are you actually demolishing PARTS?  That is, you've created Parts from the Wall and change the Phase Demolished of some of the Wall Parts.  If so, your View's "Parts Visibility"  needs to be set to "Show Parts".

If you are demolishing Parts you can use a phased void cut on the host to show in both...

Thanks - I was sure I had changed the view to show parts, but apparently not!

Recently, I learned to use ArchiCad.  The advantage I found is that there is a tool called CI Tools.

When drawing the wall 1st you draw the framework only.  Then using the CI Tool, I was able to put the wall cladding.  Prior to placing the cladding, I put in how far from the framework should the brick cladding needed to be placed.  Furthermore, where to start & finish off the vertical height of the cladding.   The problem all uses faced was removing of the door.  The alternative is to place an opening without framework.

Revit has many advantages when it comes to removing a door and leaving the opening.

Tackling one problem at a time.  Previously I used parts of wall cladding that needs to be removed split command with demolition tool. Now, I draw wall in two parts.  

Eg. Bk veneer wall 2 types of composite walls

1st Wall plasterboard + timber frame      2nd Wall air space + Bk

This will allow you the parts of Bk wall that to be demolish by phase changed into demolish, while the rest will stay as created in Exst. or New

Doors that are place can be hidden then you will see the door opening only.  Alternatively create the wall opening using the arch tool or cut the wall around the door you have place and remove the part.  Using was edit you will create the wall opening.
