Delete shape modifier

This method is not working/not available (anymore?). I am unable to delete shape modifiers, running Revit 2020.2.1. Not sure why it's not working.

Just to confirm: if split line or support is deleted, the start and end points remain visible.

No, I can't delete the split line alltogether and/or added points neither. I think these are just the view properties when I right-click, see image. Strangest thing. Perhaps it's my OS I'm running Revit 2020.2.1 on my macbook using parallels now, perhaps i'll try starting from bootcamp see what that does.
