Delete Ceiling Height Tags with Specific Value

Good Morning All (or afternoon depending on where you are):

We have a general note on our reflected ceiling plans that reads "All ceilings that aren't tagged are 2700mm a.f.f.". Since the majority of ceilings are at this height, this cleans up our plans and makes them more legible since there aren't a million 2700mm ceiling tags everywhere.

With that being said, we are currently using "Tag All" just to make sure we're not missing any rooms, and then going around and individually deleting each 2700 ceiling tag.

Question: Is there a way to "Tag All" while specifically excluding tags with certain values? or Is there a way to "Tag All" and then enter another command that will delete any Tags with a 2700 value?

We are using Revit 2018.3.

Many Thanks - Mallory

I would filter the tags for that particular value. Create a filter, add it to your view template, and uncheck it.

Create a filter for ceilings NOT 2700mm height, add to the view, untick its Visible box. That leaves only ceilings 2700 and their tags visible. Select all the ceiling tags snd delete. Turn the filter back on.

Sorry for the slow reply. I've accessed the View Template V/G Overrides and can't figure out how to filter ceilings that are a specific height. I also haven't been able to find help on other threads regarding filtering ceilings based on height.

So under V/G Overrides, Filters - I "Add" a new Rule-based Filter under the Ceiling subcategory. This in itself will only allow overrides based on Lines and Patterns. So I go to the filters "Edit" where I can create a filter rule. I think this is where I'm messing up. Under the "Filter By" selection there is no option for Ceiling Height or Ceiling Tag. I've tried both Type Name and Type Mark to filter "does not equal" and the value 2700, but when applied its still filtering all ceilings and their tags. I've also tried adding a "Label" parameter that filters "does not equal" and the value 2700 and that doesn't work either. Any idea what I'm missing? I've attached a screenshot of my process so far.

Thanks in advance, Mallory.
