Custom Assembly Schedule

I work at a custom casework manufacturing company and I am trying to develop templates and schedules so that our company can easily make the switch to REVIT. In developing these drawings I see us using a lot of Assemblies. When using AutoCAD we have a small schedule that we have to update for each "assembly" and I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out a way that I can drop this schedule on an assembly sheet and it automatically populate the schedule with the right material, manufacturer, color...etc.

I understand that I would have to set up the material with all the pertinent information but I can't seem to figure it out. Maybe its not possible....

See attached image for what I am going for.

You will be better off not trying to "exactly" duplicate a schedule format/appearnce from Cad--and instead just adapt your practice to a Revit Schedule

which can contain all the same information, but perhaps not exactly in the same format you are used to from Cad.

Thanks for replying Cliff. What I did come up with as a temporary solution was using wall tags. Since part of our projects use panels I just create a wall type and fill in the correct type and instance parameters. The problem is I can't place the tag in "paper space". Still hoping to figure out how to make a schedule work and look like I want it to.

I think you could use a Multi-Category Schedule / Casework Schedule.

The trick is using Parameters and associating them with the families / elements in your model.
