Hello everyone,
I am new to Revit and wanted to ask you if you can show me how to model such a wavy facade ( at ellipse shape ) in Revit.
I look forward to your suggestions.
Kind regards
Constantin
Are you familiar yet with modeling Conceptual Masses. That's the direction I would go. But it's a little too advanced to describe to a "newbie" in a post. You ought to Google about creating Conceptual Masses in Revit. There's a ton of videos and tutorials available on-line. I would suggest that you forget about the "Slats" initially and concentrate firstly on creating the form as a solid Mass.
I am already somewhat familiar with the modeling. On a straight wall it also worked . I'm actually only missing the command that the profiles follow the circle/ellipse as a path.
Kind regards
Constantin

I don't understand you. Did you forget what you asked? You posted this picture and asked "how to model such a wavy facade".
I remember my question very well.
I just wanted to explain that I can model such a façade on a straight wall in Revit to give you an idea of my knowledge.
In the program where I modeled the facade, the only difference between a "straight" corrugated facade and a corrugated facade on a circle is the step that you have to select the circle as a path.
Maybe it's simular in Revt and maybe you just try it with explain , if you know it.
Have a nice day
You can check this website to get the idea what you want to achieve.
