Curved Family - Constraints break when flexed

I have set-up some reference planes and reference lines to form a shape outline with curved fillets. This framework works well when flexed - maintaining key relationships to ensure curves intersect at tangents etc.

However any extrusion or sweep applied and locked to that framework does not flex with the reference planes/lines and constraints are removed.

This is a major issue I keep encountering with non-orthogonal Revit families, is there something i am missing here?

I understand this can be achieved as a conceptual mass/adaptive component but I'm sure it can be achieved as a standard family (i'm just doing something wrong)

Really appreciate any help on this.

These figures with multiple parametric multiple tangents are difficult. There are 2 ways to solve them. One is by geometrical contraints without formulas, and the other way is by trigonometry, finding the X and Y distances of the start and endpoints of lines and arcs.

Thank you Alfredo, the method described in the blog you referenced does work - it's just very frustrating that Revit cannot simply lock flexible geometry to the reference lines. Now the family is a complete puzzle to anyone else who might have to amend it in the future...

Glad to know that my blog article helped you to find a solution. My advice on these problems is to tackle each case of tangent in its own file, separated from the rest of the problem. Once you solve it, you can bring the solution into a host file and put all the solutions together. For example, the tangent on the left side is a different case than the tangent arc on the top,
