Welcome to the forum.

Yes, following the same steps that are necessary to put a decal on a wall. Create a decal type, then, put the decal on the floor.

Hello Mado4ever0,

Yes, it is possible to place a decal on the floor.

  • First make an decal type
  • Go to the default 3D view (this can be opened by clicking on the house icon available in the quick acces toolbar)
  • Activate the place decal function
  • Hover above the floor and click to place.

Good luck place decals.

With kind regards,

Kelly Pelzer

Please do not post the same question twice. There is another thread of yours with the same question, which already had an answer.

some floors it work well but some other floors it wont accept to read it as a surface to put the decal on it ,, even that it works fine on the same floor in the 3d view
so do u know whats wrong here ? why would it work on some floors on the floor view and others in the same view wont work on it ?

Chances are you have modified the floor sub-elements and that caused the surface no longer planar aka warped.  Decals will not work for that kind of surface.

No I didn't change anything in the floor sub-elements
beside the Decal already worked for the same floor in the 3D view
it only not working in the floor view
but it works with other floors in the same view

Is the floor on the same elevtaion height as the others? If not, check and see if it is out of the view range.

No its only 30 cm higher than the normal floor level
IF it was out of the view range I wouldn't be able to see it in the floor view so of course its not out of the view range

There are many ways to put the floor stickers. Yes, you can directly put floor stickers instead of using a decal over the wall. It looks good and attracts more customers/visitors to your business. If you want to buy some floor stickers, visit Bade Newby. I also use the stickers from there and I'm promoting my business through their custom made stickers.
