Curtain Wall Fence With Door

Hi,

Any idea how to add a normal width door (around 90 cm width) to the curtain wall fence with the same vertical posts and same distance between them?

If you want the actual door with swing and whatnots then model it as a curtain wall door with extrusion to match the vertical fence posts.

If it a one time kind of deal then then add curtain grids to match the door opening > remove grids segments inside the door opening to merge the it into one panel > duplicate the curtain wall type and modify to create the door-like structure > replace the panel with the new curtain wall type > create a in-place door family to add swing lines for plan and elevation.

Actually, you are describing something more like this:

You would need a special hinge as well as top/bottom rails and header.

@barthbradley Yes, exactly only without the top/bottom rail on the door and no header.

There is no family. It is another curtain wall infill as a door.
