I am having an unusual problem with my Curtain Grid Storefront. Often on this project I will click on a Curtain Wall Grid Line, and then Modify > Curtain Wall Grids > Add/Remove Segment. Usually, this is no problem - Revit recognizes that when I click on an existing Grid Line I am removing it.
However, I have a Grid Line that Revit's Add/Remove Segment is not recognizing, and I have no way to delete it. Any tips or tricks?
Screenshots: 1) I find and select the Grid Line (it is unpinned)
2) I click Add/Remove Segments
3) I then click on the Grid Line in question...nothing happens, the Grid Line is still there.
Make Gridline Independent.
...you might try stretching the CW temporarily
Yep. Same thing happening here. Just move the Gridline Segment (vs. Remove).
You cannot remove a curtain segment if the grid has only one segment, which is what you screenshot suggests. In such case, you can just delete the curtain grid.
So I tried doing that, but the problem with just moving the Grid Line to, say, the bottom of the Curtain Wall is that it throws off the Frank Lloyd Wright style corner windows (where there's no edge mullion) on a Curtain Wall system...
Because then when I true to join the mullions (using the Toggle Mullion Join > Unpin > L Corner Mullion > delete the unwanted mullions), the Grid Lines being off from one wall to the next causes the mullions not to join.
Not following what you mean by "Frank Lloyd Wright style corner windows", but what about doing this?
