Creating an editable revit model from IFC

ıs there any easy way to create an editable revit model from an IFC model?  İ know link revit, save it as revit. And I know that IFC can also give Schedule to me. But the topic is, I want to have an editable revit model from that IFC. Otherwise I have to create a New model bu using İFC link.

Can İ define materials ti the walls, or move the elements, edit profiles? And there are mass models in the folder. Can I edit also masses with this way?

Editing capability is very limited and largely depends on which program created the IFC in the 1st place.  You will never get a full editing capability like a native Revit file.

Since you are the one with thw IFC model, why don't you try it and see what you can and cannot do?

I asker again because  I just want to understand your reply better maybe I miss something or not because we tried everything. Thanks for explanation, that means I will create the model and use the IFC just as referance.
