Created Column Trim Problem

Please see attached and advise. The only thing that comes to my mind is when I created the trim at the top of the column I did not lock it to the column. Can I go back and lock the trim or do I have to remake the column? Thanks.

yes, you are right ...You didn't lock the elements to Reference Planes and you didn't lock dimensions...

Look in the attached file ...it must work now...

Tried to open, says it was saved in an earlier version and I cannot open. Also, am I able to go back and lock trim / dims to column or do I have to rebuild the column?

what version do you use? 

I'm using  only 2012 and 2014...
