Create similar?

I use create similar on a wall. 

It gives me the proper wall, but doesn't give me the same base or top constraints. 

Is there a way to get this to work this way?

No. But I checked it and Revit 2019 also duplicates the constraints.

Huh?  What does it give you?

depends on which level you are working..

if its the same level, then constraints should match..

but if you pick a ground floor wall, create similar while working on ( active , workplane Level 1 )

Level 1, then Revit will try to match the constants but may not work if level to level distances

are different...

Match properties is another way to to apply base and top constraints...

( properties are not matched if the wall profile is customised. ex: edit profile )
