Create Schedule for each Floor in Project

Hello All,

I have created custom families inside my revit project (under Generic Models). I would like to create a schedule with the Family names and counts, which i have done. (See below pic). The problem i am having is i have 70 floors and would like to add this schedule PER floor on each plan, right now its showing for entire project. In my schedule properties I've tried selecting "Level", but i'm unsure what level really means. I am also able to tag all families within my floor plan, but unsure how to populate a schedule. Ideally, i would like a schedule created PER floor with my family name and counts populated. Any suggestions?

If you add the parameter "level" to the schedule, you can use it as a filter to the schedule. Then create a schedule for each level of the project.

Level means Floor Level.  You can duplicate a schedule 70 times and filter by Level for each one of them.  You can also add Room information to your schedule and further filter or group by Room.

If you see attached pictures , it shows what i've used for filters and im still unable to populate the counts or distinguish between levels.

You filter shows LEVEL 7 so every item in this schedule belongs to LEVEL 7.

You don't need to Sort by Level because there is only one Level in this schedule.

Do you families have sub-types?  If so, you need to add Type parameter as a schedule field.  Uncheck Itemized All Instance if you want to combine identical rows into one.  Edit Count field format and make it Calculate Total so that it gives you sub-totals for the combined rows.

Have you ever had an issue with not being able to filter using the 'Level' parameter when scheduling for windows on per-level bases?  

When I created my door schedule, I am able to filter my doors by their associated level. But I cannot do the same for my windows. It just does not give me the level option to filter by after I've added level to the targetted parameter fields.
