Create blend from 2 cross sections but the result is not as expected

Hi,

I am trying to use blend to create 2 cross sections, here is the base

And here is the top cross section 

And 3D solid result is as below :

Point 1 should meet point 3, and point 2 should meet point 4, however in this result point 1 & 2 meet point 3 and is not as expected, why does this happen?

Anyone please need your help.

Split the two vertical lines of base profile so the base has the same number of points as the top.

Instead of blend try with sweep blend.
