Hi,

Is it possible to create a void in edge of roof to create a box gutter, using Revit LT?

(edge of roof needs to be notched).

Easiest would be to create family with embedded void. That way when you do cut geometry with the family, it will cut the roof. See attached.

This is my starter model I use; its just a basic parametric in size, its a rough simple one I made a while back, but I modify it in each setting.

I don't normally use a cutting void as if I am doing it in my normal jobs the roof would already need to be up to the gutter (rather than cut by the gutter) and therefore there is already a void there. You can edit this family to have ends cut and open etc. If you make it better let me know.

just in case you wanted something quick and simple
