Hi, I'm setting up a sheet that shows all of my fire separations using the hatch shown in the image below. My firm typically uses the "coarse fill pattern" parameter under "edit type" for walls floors and roofs to show this hatch. Unfortunately no such parameter seems to exist for stairs and landings, so I've had to use an override in a view template to assign the same hatch to stairs.
If you look at the 2nd image below, this is where I start to run into problems. When I zoom out, or print to pdf, the hatch on the stairs and landings turns into a solid grey fill, while the same hatch used for the walls and floor seems to scale somehow to retain visibility. This seems to be an odd quirk of how the "coarse fill" parameter behaves vs graphic overrides.
Has anyone encountered this before?
Do you have a workaround?
P.s. for those who will inevitably wonder why the stairs need to be rated, It is a scissor stair meaning 2 exit stairs in a double helix, and both exits need to maintain seperation from each other.
