Copying Section marks.....

When I'm in plan, most times seems easiest just to copy some random section mark on the plan. Don't know enogh about the potential limitations of this but I'm not understanding why when I do this ALL the levels show up even if I have a lot of levels turned off in the for the other mark/ view.

Wondering if there is a way to only have certain levels (or none) show up "automatically" so can get rid of some of the clutter/ have most of the cleanup work done when I need another view to actually go on a sheet.

Wondering about creating another section mark type (say a "working section type") that I can select any time I want to take some random section.... say that only shows the "floor plan" levels.

Best practice? How does everyone handle this.

Also. Is there a way to create a section mark that doesn't print? That way wouldn't need to keep hiding and unhiding the "working" section marks.

Address the overuse of levels.

There's a setting in the print dialog for not printing section, elevations, etc. that are not on a sheet.
