Copy Elevations without Creating New Elevation Family/Marker

When I right click and select duplicate for a Elevation, Revit creates a new building elevation family marker in the same place. I have moved it over to show the two separate elevations families:

Is it possible to duplicate using the same elevation family? I do not want to have multiple elevations as it gets to be confusing for other users. I want a working and documentation elevation using the same marker.

No can do.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Different elevation views must use different makers but you could hide the marker(s) in view if you want.

You can make a "Working Elevation" view type and then use a filter to hide them all in your documentation floor plans.
