Converting .jpg to .dwg

hmm, what do you intend to do? jpg is a raster format...?

What I've done in the past is trace contours of a logo with Adobe Illustrator and export to dwg, so then it's vector based. Not sure if that helps you though, if you don't have AI...

You should ask this over in the AutoCAD forum since the process does not involve Revit.

I can tell you that you will find that there are programs that can convert image files to .dwg but the result is far from adequate for anything but simple reference. Most likely you will need to do quite a bit of cleanup and fixing after the conversion. The is no vector information stored in image files.

Why don't you use that Scan2CAD Free Trial?  From what I read, I'm sold.

Depending on the image, you can use the Image Trace tool in AI. The image trace can automatically trace a raster image as long as there is high enough contrast, then you can just save it to a dwg.
