Conversion Failure

I have a formit model in 2019 that I saved as an axm and trying to import on revit 2018 with the formit converter. However when importing it gives me the following message: "Command Failure for External Command"

Any way I can convert this 2019 file to an 2018 version? 

Or simply convert a revit 2019 family to a 2018 version?

Unfortunately not. Revit is not Backward Compatible.    

...I don't know if this applies, but if you have a backup from a previous version, you may be able to restore that earlier version.  Of course, it won't have all the work you did since upgrading.
