Continuously Project Revit Files Crashing!

Situation: On a specific project on which we have a Team of about 10 people working daily on several Revit files somehow for long time the files kept Crashing!! I tried all possibilities in cleaning  and auditing the files but no hope -  the files kept crashing!

I searched for solution in all possible Revit and Autodesk Forums, but still no solution. One day I realised that while one of the users was on leave (so not opening the files) the files were not crashing. I tried to clean uninstall Revit and re-install it again. It worked for a while but not for long. The files started to crash again.

At this point I decided to replace the user's workstation with a new one. Since then, the problem seems to have been solved.

The technical specs of the workstation which we replaced are the same with the other users' workstations and it doesn’t seem to have any  software or hardware problem.

Question: Does anyone know why this was happening? Did you experience this issue before?

Any help in understanding this issue would be very appreciated in order to avoid this to happen again in the future.

Thanks in advance!

Is the guy a disgruntled employee? Yes...I'm definitely, maybe kidding here.  But, your troubleshooting has led you to uninstall/reinstall the software, and then to replace the hardware...right? Maybe, next you try firing the guy and see if that works. Just saying....

Hello, if the user or user's (involve the project - worksharing) away for a period of time tell them to relinquish all mine in the project before switching off their computers sometimes this is the caused by the problem. Thanks
