Did you download and install the UK content?

I don't know what you are looking for. I thought you were looking for UK Content Columns, but there is no "Metal Clad Column" in the OOTB Library.  Are you following some sort of tutorial that is calling out a "Metal Clad Column" Family?

Perhaps that Family is part of the course content.

Im confused too. its a course im doing with Udemy and its autocad revit 2021 for begginers and intermediate. He says i need to go to the uk library and go to columns and select metal clad ones. when i click on the modify button along the top of my screen then click mode then load family then on my screen it says structural precast and its meant to come up with a list of folders including columns like in the photos but they aren't that clear.

Go to Insert tab=>Load Family and then navigate to your "Structural Columns" Folder in your Library. Maybe the Column you are looking for is located in one of the "Structural Column" subfolders.

FWIW: "Cladding" (as in "Metal Clad Column") indicates a column with a thin metal layer covering its surfaces.  You are not going to find a clad column in the OOTB Library.  You can model one though.  Are you certain it was not included with the course materials downloads?

That family should be under UK content > Columns, not Structural Columns.

In Revit: Insert > Load Family > Navigate to UK content

You are right. I was wrong. "Metal Clad Column". Right there in the Columns folder as clear as daylight.  But it's not really clad, is it?  It's a single Revolve using Aluminum Material.  Somebody ought to instruct Autodesk about what cladding means. he, he.

@Anonymous: you ought Paint the "cladding" material onto the surface.   😉

Thank you for your patience, its that that I dont  have. The uk content folder doesn't come up and I've search all my folders for it. I've tried all day to do this. The thing I have downloaded would have been the free trial on the autodesk website. I dont know what I've done for it not to come up.

The zip file contains the Columns folder. Download it and extract it here:
c:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2021\Libraries\UK\Columns\

Or you can get the entire library installation file and install it to get everything:
http://revit.downloads.autodesk.com/download/2021RVT_RTM/Content/Language/RVT/EN/RVT2021_ENG_Librari...

Open the "Columns" folder.

The link provides instructions:

To apply the content files:
Download the desired content executable to a local location
Launch the content executable from the saved local location
Specify the desired content location (Default destination folder “C:\Program Data\Autodesk\”) and choose Extract. The files will be extracted to RVT 2021 and RLT 2021 folders when applicable.

...etc. etc.
