Column Grid Bubbles

Can column the location of the column grid bubbles vary from view to view? When I have a 16” scale plan and move them out, they are too far out for a 1/8” view.

I have also seen the grid bubbles 'move' with the crop box, but can't seem to duplicate that behavior. When / how does that occur?

It occurs when the crop region is active. The crop region could be there but inactive, not cropping the view. In that case it has no effect over grid lines.,

Thank you for your response, but I am still not understanding this.

On one view, the bubbles moved with the crop region until I manually adjusted the bubbles, which were set to 2D. After adjusting them, moving the crop region has no effect. On another view, turning on the crop region and moving it had no effect on the bubbles. I still can’t figure the ‘rule’ when they move and when they don’t. Do you know of any videos explaining this?
