Color scheme and conflict with floors?

Hi, my color scheme does not appear as long as the floor within the room is there. If I hide it, I can see the color. 

Below are 2 spaces given the same room category. the one to the right has its floor hidden. The one to the left keeps showing the surface brown color of the floor. 

This is a repetetive problem,

The room is getting bound by the floor element

Select floor >> from the properties palette; Make the floor NOT room Bounding

@RDAOU Tried, still not working...

here it shows the right colour blue beause floor is selected and turned transparent

when i release the selection, shows again the floor colour

Check Floor material and also any overrides to the surface pattern of the Floor element (By Element/By Category/By Filter or by phasing). Solid pattern can conceal the color scheme.

Also check in section view the Lower/Upper Limits of the room, Level Above

Turn off any solid surface pattern of the floors.
