Every now and then, the color fill background process  starts and doesnt want to end its calculating mission,

forcing me to kill revit in task manager, seen other post ppl talking about stopping the revitworker.exe in task manager,

however the revitworker.exe is nowhere to be found in task manager, any idea on fixing this issue?

Revit 2020.1 , Win10pro

Regards

I'm looking for an answer to this as well. Were you able to track down a solution?

I recently upgraded to 2021 and this problem has started to happen.... Looking over all the forums, This problem has been occurring for YEARS!!!!! and there is no solution as far as I can tell 😞

So it looks like I have to start re-installing and rebuilding my models!!!!

Yeah, that's it! Go nuclear and ask questions later.

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Oh yeah, gotta love redoing something that felt good to finish the first time.

Just to add to the conversation.

Carried out a complete re-install.

Same problem has occurred. It might be the model that's "corrupted", however, I've opened other/previous models and encountered the same issue.

and the error message is not allowing me to report it!!!
