Collapse option

Hello to everyone,

I am at the moment having some doubts about an error that I got in Revit 2018. I had several options to deal with it, one of them was the option "colapse" that I dont know whatit does, and I would like to know very much what it does.

Collapse? As in the Plus/Minus sign?  Can you post a picture?

Maybe a hint about what the actual error was would be helpful.

Like the exact wording of the error message?

What you have described is about equivalent to saying "I got an error. Should I press Yes or No?"
