i did a cloister vault in the massing environmentas per @constantin.stroescu video and loaded it into the project. When i tried to make roof with tow options 1. Wall by face and 2. Roof by face. In both the attempts i didn't get the expected result.
1. Wall by face
when i used wall instead of roof, i get this unjoint corners as in the image.
2. Roof by face
When i use roof by face option i get some extra extensions which i marked with the red lines in the image. When i tried to get rid of that extra extensions with the shaft opening tool it didn't help.
so can some one please help me to sort this out...

- you can choose how to place Wall by Face from: Properties >Constraint > Location Line
2. Roof by face
When i use roof by face option i get some extra extensions which i marked with the red lines in the image. When i tried to get rid of that extra extensions with the shaft opening tool it didn't help.
- you can control the rim appearance from Properties > Construction>Rafter Cut settings
