Changing window plan view cut plane old VS new

I've been messing with these for hours now. Can't figure out why the newer window shows above cut plan and the old version does not. Granted I could hide the upper window but then it cannot be tagged. Seeing both I can see would be nice in some instances but if you have a pocket or slider door it really gets confusing. I've messed with the family view settings and nested setting but cannot seem to find the right combination. Thanks for any help. (see attached file)

I'm not sure if you want to show it or not.

but in the older window, it don't show because in visibility graphics of the elements inside the family it's not checked to show in plans.

select the elements forming the window and follow below photo.

If you don't want them to show in your plan, lower the top of your view range of the plan view.

Window & door families are not cut based on the cut plane defined in project views. Instead they are cut based on the cut plane defined in the family's plan view.
