CHanging thread depth on multistory stairs

I've finally managed to figure out how to simply get a 5 story multistory stair case working simply except I want to change individual levels tread depths to cater for differing types. How do I manage this? The stairs are based on runs but I can't seem to change the run length to accommodate (tries to add more risers) or just simply adjust the tread depth size (greyed out out property)

You can't do that if it's a Multi-Story.

Is it possible to split a multistory stair then adjust individual floors/runs?

You could change a flight run/rise.  You need to unpin the flight first.

You can TAB to select individual stairs within a multi-story stairs, unpin, and change them to different stair types, the stair types reference different Run/Landing types where you define different Tread/Riser/Nosing configurations as needed.

Thanks, Yes I've managed to unpin and change stair type but Still I seem to have no ability to just change the tread depth as it's always greyed out (due to boundaries I would presume, similarly changing boundaries does not change tread depth just adds more risers!!!!). Only way it to convert stair to sketch not auto then manually adjust riser lines. Seems no way to adjust depths in Revit 2018

I FINALLY figured this out - I was trying to get 11" treads, but it kept making them bigger. I had to change the value in "actual tread depth" properties of the overall multistory stair to something different than the 11". Then change it back and it made them actually 11". Odd, but it worked for me!
