Changing the size of a family does not does not change the size of the family

When I change the 1000 in 3600 the Apply button stays grey and after a few moments it changes back to 1000. Sometimes 1 time, sometimes 10 times. See the attached video. When I have Enscape open at the same time the opening changes in Enscape but still not in Revit....??? (it also happens when Enscape is not open, I crossed that off the list)

Also when I want to change one family into an other I can't select the new family. The pulldown closes before I can select. Again and again.

Closing Revit is the only solution. Restarting my PC an even better solution.

  • Does it happen only in 1 particular project?
  • Does it happen in many different parameters in different families for you?

It happens from time to time. Different projects. 3 weeks no problem, then days with a lot of frustration.

Mostly from the properties menu.

Different Families.

Materials I can't change from the Propertiesmenu. That wil almost always fail.

I wonder if this might be not software, but hardware issue because it looks like lagging of processes. I heavn't experienced that problem before. Could you check in task manager if your system is not overloaded while this problem occured?

If the PC is guilty, have you tried bringing back default Revit settings or reinstal program?

I have a new PC and still, from time to time I still have the problem.

Solution?... Closing outlook.... Why does that matter?
